This 25-mile hiking route winds around soaring sandstone walls, dipping in and out of a usually shallow stream interlaced with a debris-wracked riparian zone that reveals the flash-flooding that can occur in the area. ![]() But once you gain foothold on the canyon, you’ll forget about all the time and patience it takes to get there. It can be washboard rattling rough or tire-sucking slick, depending on the weather and road maintenance.
